Tarmac to Promote Rubberised Asphalt

After a long gestation period, Tarmac has arrived at the point where it can utilise rubberised asphalt.

This will come as pleasant news to the tyre recycling sector, as not so long ago a representative from Tarmac attended a Tyre Recycling Association forum and was adamant that this would never happen. Tyre and Rubber recycling is delighted that at long last we may start to see the benefits of rubberised asphalt on the UK road network in more than just short trial sections of roadway.

Phoenix Develops New Asphalt Binder

Phoenix Industries has seen the successful completion of the first trial project with their PelletPAVE pelletised rubber modified binder.
